Privacy Policy of mytopup.co.uk – last updated 22 October 2026.

This website (“mytopup.co.uk”, “we”, “us”) collects some Personal Data from its Users. This policy explains exactly which data is collected, which services we use, what each one is used for, where the data is processed and what your rights are.

Owner and Data Controller

JDF Tech LTD, trading as My Top Up
396 Barking Road, London, E13 8HJ, United Kingdom
Owner contact email: info@mytopup.co.uk

Types of Data collected

Among the types of Personal Data that this website collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: first name; last name; email address; phone number; billing address (street, town or city, county, postcode, country); password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form); order details (products, amounts, date, payment method); the IMEI number and model number of a phone, mobile WiFi or USB modem (for unlock code orders); the mobile number to be topped up (for international top-ups); Trackers; Usage Data (such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, the website that referred you).

Complete details on each type of Personal Data collected are given in the sections below. Personal Data is either provided by you (for example at checkout) or, in the case of Usage Data, collected automatically when you use the website.

The data asked for at checkout is needed to deliver your order. If you do not provide it, we cannot complete the order. Fields marked “optional” can be left empty.

If you give us Personal Data about someone else – for example the mobile number of a relative you are topping up – you confirm that you have their permission to do so.

Mode and place of processing the Data

Methods of processing

We take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of the Data. The whole website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text, and card details are entered directly into the payment provider’s secure fields – we never see or store your full card number.

The Data is processed using computers and IT tools, following procedures strictly related to the purposes described here. Besides the Owner, the Data may be accessible to the external service providers named in this policy (payment, hosting and email providers), acting as Data Processors or as independent controllers. An up-to-date list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.

Place

The website, its database and its email are hosted on servers in the United Kingdom. Some of the service providers named below may process Data outside the UK (for example in the European Union or the United States). Where this happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum. Details are given for each service below.

Retention time

  • Orders and invoices: 6 years from the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, as required by UK tax law.
  • Customer account: until you ask us to delete it (order records are still kept for the tax period above).
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Emails you send us: up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Identity documents (only if we ask for them to verify an order): deleted once the check is complete, and no later than 30 days.

The purposes of processing

The Data concerning you is collected to allow us to provide our service, meet our legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect our rights and interests (or those of our Users or third parties), and detect fraudulent or malicious activity, as well as for the following purposes: Handling payments; Processing and delivering orders; Registration and authentication; Contacting the User; Managing support and contact requests; Platform services and hosting; Traffic source statistics; Analytics; Security and fraud prevention.
